Today we’re excited to announce Charm LA: the expansion of Charm bio-oil storage operations into Central Louisiana. Charm has adopted an orphaned oil & gas well and has repurposed it for bio-oil injection, which will unlock over 500,000 tonnes of additional storage capacity. Louisiana is the fourth U.S. state where Charm operates, alongside California, Colorado, and Kansas.
Charm LA — and the associated Class V bio-oil reservoir injection permit — marks a huge milestone for Charm’s expanding operations. Through close collaboration with regulators, partners, and community members, the Charm team has ensured that our operations are safe, transparent, and beneficial for the communities in which we operate.
Louisiana’s history in oil & gas, manufacturing, and heavy industry makes it a natural fit for the next phase of Charm’s injection operations. This region’s deep industrial expertise aligns perfectly with the skillsets required for safe, effective, and responsible bio-oil injection.
