Azolla Ventures portfolio company, NetZeroNitrogen (NZN) was featured in AgTechNavigator for its plans to bring a greener and more affordable biofertilizer to market in 2026, starting with rice across ASEAN markets.

Following its $6.6M seed round co-led by Azolla Ventures and World Fund, NZN is planning to make key hires in ASEAN, moving through certification, and finalizing commercial offtake and biomanufacturing agreements.

As our co-founder and General Partner Amy Duffuor shared: “NZN’s breakthrough technology stands apart from other solutions with the trifecta of deploying the right bacteria, on the right crop, at the right price.” With the potential to transform a $200B global market and empower smallholder farmers, NZN is on a path to making agriculture more sustainable and equitable.
